No, just going for 8 to 9" rims under the standard arch. They should fill them nicely.

Doesn't seem like much done, but the cage is just about fitted. Welded the floor plates front and main hoop. Not easy welding 3mm plate to thin tin floors

Done a bit more. 4 hours to make some holes bigger.
The front panel had 2 small'ish holes at the bottom for the rad cooling. As i'm fitting an intercooler in, i need more air. So a bit of cutting and they were opened up. But they looked crap. Small old openings ![]() Cut out ![]() So the rolled edges were fitted back in to make it look better. ![]() Then the intercooler fitted behind. ![]() ![]() Then a play about with some throttle bodies i got. Removed the secondary chokes and stripped them down as they need to be spaced out about 65mm to line up with the manifold better. Then weld up the conector flange and pipework. ![]() ![]()

Got back to doing a bit again.
Now the tunnel was bigger it was time to get the gearbox in and make up the mounts. But as i'm not using the old ford box i needed the engine in to get it in the right place. The box is an MT75 from the Sierra, not as light as the old Type 9 but a lot stronger and it will bolt on in place of the type9  Loads of room in the new tunnel ![]() Just floor plates and some hole for the bolts ![]() Back to the engine. I was going to fit a zetec i have, but i've had a change of plan after getting some bits. Anyone guess what engine donated them ? ![]() ![]() ![]() Big thanks to Pete

Only put it in to mock up. Got a transit motor with forged internals to go in.

rob if your going to use the cossie manifold and an adapter lpate in between that and the head then use the 4wd manifold it's far smaller and easier to fit.
